Pink Scarf from Anthropologie paired with ripped denim and leopard booties

I wore this outfit a couple of weeks ago on my way to get my hair cut (notice the longer locks and lack of blonde!). Since the weather turned out to be so beautiful the last week, I didn’t know if I should post it, but Tuesday night’s blizzard was a little reminder that winter’s still here…at least for a little bit longer! So, if you are lacking outfit inspiration for the last few wintery days, I hope I can give you some here!

I picked up this scarf from Anthropologie. I’ve been eyeing it for a while and it was on sale, so I couldn’t pass it up! It’s not available online anymore, but I purchased mine at the Yorkville location and it was such a deal (I’m talking under $15…go find it!). The scarf was the real inspiration for the outfit – it’s so feminine and soft which I love. I wanted to pair it with an equally feminine top like this lace one and I really like how the lace and wool compliment each other.

As you know, I like to spice up lovely items with a bit of edge so the ripped jeans and leopard boots felt like a perfect combo! The final piece (an important one!) is this jacket. It is great because the wool still keeps me warm but the shorter length and lighter colour make it appropriate for later in the cold season – a bit of a ‘transition piece’ without really transitioning (because I’m still toasty in there!). I left my coat open and let the scarf keep my front section warm.
