The moment I saw this coat I immediately thought of all the outfits it would complete perfectly. Confession: Where did I first see it? In my mom’s closet (thanks mom!). I have had it on loan for the last couple of weeks and I haven’t stopped wearing it. My ‘rule’ (I say this in quotations because as you know, I don’t really follow fashion rules) for wearing a chunky (and funky!) coat like this is to keep the rest of the outfit simple. In this case, I went for all black. Due to the fact that this is an oversized coat I opted for tighter clothing items underneath the coat and wore the outfit with high heels. The high heels elongate my leg and add a level of sophistication that I think compliments the oversized coat well. Without the heels I get lost in the jacket a little!
