It was such a snowy day today in the city. Secretly, I love the snow and I still get excited every time I wake up and it’s snowing outside. Yes…even in April.
This season I have been wearing this parka by Parajumpers and it has been keeping me warm on the coldest days. Last month on my Instagram I shared this post about wearing this coat during an outdoor winter wedding bridal shoot. I was outside for EIGHT hours straight on a very cold and windy day (my flowers froze within 5 minutes) and my body truly stayed warm all day. That was all the proof I needed to know that this coat is the real deal. As a snow lover (and cold weather hater), I’m super happy to have it.
Parajumpers is known for luxurious Italian outerwear that was inspired by the designers chance meeting at a bar in Anchorage, Alaska with a member of the 210th Rescue Squadron. These people, also called ‘The Parajumpers’, are trained to go into the most rugged of landscapes to save lives. Their sturdy gear inspired the design for these coats, most notably with the signature collar fastening hook. I remember a couple of years ago a client of mine came to their meeting wearing a Parajumpers coat and I was instantly drawn to the sturdy hardware and yellow pull. The design has stuck with me since and I’m happy to say this coat lives up to its style with warmth and quality.
As I sit here writing this post the snow has sadly turned to rain, so I’m glad I got a bit of snowy frolicking in this morning! Keep warm out there, Friends!
